The Internet Payments and Automated Telephone Payments services are available seven days a week.
They are available all day except between 17:30 and 17:45. This is to allow for essential maintenance to take place.

Is this service secure?
Our secure online payments service employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This is software that encrypts all your personal information so that it travels across the Internet in an unrecognisable form.
To ensure that SSL is functioning look for 'https' in the address bar the 's' for 'security' and/or the closed padlock icon at the bottom right of the browser status bar.
When will my payment show on the Council's records?
Payments received up until 17:30 on any working day will normally show on the Council's records on the same working day.
Payments received after this, overnight, at weekends and on Bank Holidays, will show on the Council's records on the next working day.
Do I need any special software?
To access the secure site, your browser must be capable of supporting 128 bit cypher strength encryption mentioned above.

We regret that American Express and Diners Cards are not accepted by this service.

Before making a payment you will need the following information:
- What you wish to pay
- The appropriate reference number
- What card type you will be using
- What your card number is
Telephone payments
You can also use the SBC Automated Telephone Payments Service to make payments. This Service is available by dialling 01835 826500.
You will need to have your reference and Credit/Debit card handy when you call.
